Campaign Terms & Commission
Terms belong to the campaign
Every campaign owns its commercial terms. There is no shared plan library: your staff set the terms on each campaign, in the backoffice, and a partner cannot choose or edit them. A partner sees them on the campaign as plain sentences.
A campaign a partner starts has no terms yet. It tracks traffic and counts players, but earns nothing until staff set terms, and it earns from that moment, never retroactively. A campaign can also be created with terms from the start.
What terms pay
Terms pay a revenue share, a one-off CPA payment per player, or both.
Revenue share. A percentage of the month's net gaming revenue from the campaign's players, with optional higher steps: "25% of monthly net revenue, 35% in months above $10,000". Steps are flat-rate: the highest step the month clears applies to the whole month, not just the part above the threshold — a $12,000 month pays 35% of $12,000. Steps can be measured by net revenue or by the number of players who played that month. The terms name what net revenue deducts (bonuses, payment fees, tax) and any admin fee.
CPA. A one-off amount per player whose first deposit reaches a minimum, with larger amounts for larger first deposits: "$50 once per player who deposits $20+, $120 from $100+". One set of qualification rules applies to every amount — the player must wager a multiple of that first deposit (optionally only on casino or only on sportsbook), still be playing a set number of days after signing up, and qualify within a window (90 days unless set otherwise). Sharing one set of rules keeps the amount a function of the deposit alone, so a player never qualifies early for a small amount and locks themselves out of a larger one. "Casino" means everything except the sportsbook.
Losing months. When referred players win more than they lose, the terms decide: the loss carries into the next bill, or it is forgiven.
Terms are in USD
CPA minimums and amounts, and revenue-share steps measured by net revenue, are USD figures, so one set of terms works whatever currency — fiat or crypto — players use.
- CPA. The first deposit is converted to USD to find its amount, which is paid in the partner's payout currency at the rate when it is awarded. An exchange-rate move later does not change an award.
- Revenue share. Each currency's net revenue is converted to USD and summed to pick the step; the step's percentage then applies to the month's net revenue, which is held in the partner's payout currency.
- No rate, no guess. If a rate is missing the partner's run is refused rather than priced at an invented rate, and the next run catches up.
Changing terms: dated versions, never repriced
Terms are kept as an append-only history of dated versions. Staff change a campaign's terms at any moment, in the campaign's editor, with a required reason. The change applies from the moment it is saved: you cannot schedule one ahead or back-date one, and nothing already earned is repriced by a later edit. Undoing a change is another change that carries the old terms. The history shows each version with its date, who changed it, the reason and what changed. The partner sees when and what changed, never who or why.
A change in the middle of a month splits that month into stretches. Each stretch is priced on the version in force during it, with that version's own steps, deductions and admin fee; the step is still picked from the whole month's revenue. The bill shows the months where terms changed.
A retroactive fix is a correction on a bill, made and approved by a person (see Bills, Payouts & Reconciliation).
How commission is calculated
Commission accrues hourly. The job recomputes each period and posts only the difference from what is already booked, so a re-run converges rather than paying twice.
It recomputes the current month and the previous twelve, because net revenue can change after the fact: a bet voided today lowers the revenue of the month the stake was placed in. Old activity is recomputed on the terms in force when it happened. A void arriving more than twelve months late is not corrected automatically; staff re-run that month by hand from the Jobs page.
A change found this way reaches the partner as a prior-period adjustment on their next bill.
Paused stretches earn nothing. While a partner is paused (or disabled), play does not earn commission, and it stays excluded after they resume, even though the month is recomputed. A player who qualifies for CPA after the partner resumes is still awarded.
CPA payments are revocable: if the first deposit is charged back or the wagering behind the qualification is voided, the payment is withdrawn on the next run. An award is checked against the terms it was made under, so a later, stricter change never revokes it.
Sub-affiliate deals
A sub-affiliate deal lets a partner (the parent) earn a share of what the partners it recruited (its children) earn. You pay the share on top; it is never taken from the child. A deal is granted to chosen partners and is never on by default.
- The deal is a share of each child bill (0 to 20%) and an optional time limit counted in months from when the child joined (1 to 120). Staff change it with a reason, and it keeps a dated history. Ending a deal means setting the share to 0%.
- The link between parent and child is set by staff. A child has one parent, only one level is allowed, and the two must not share an email address (the same canonical comparison as the self-referral guard).
- Recruiting is by proposal. A parent with a deal proposes a new partner from the portal; staff approve it (which creates the affiliate under the parent and invites its owner) or reject it with a reason the parent sees. There is no sign-up link.
- Earning. When a child's bill is approved, the parent earns the share of its amount, provided the parent is active, held a deal when that bill's period began, the period ends after the link, and any time limit has not run out. A deal change reaches child bills that start after it.
- Taking it back. When a child's bill is negative (an earlier month restated down by a chargeback or void, or repriced into another currency), the parent gives back its share of it, on the same eligibility rules. Months restated after the deal ended are not clawed back.
The parent sees the earnings as a sub-affiliates line on its next bill. A child's players, links and reports are never shown to the parent. The parent's Sub-affiliates page stays readable after the deal ends, with what it earned before.
